Like a king! Shah Rukh Khan has over 17 million followers on Twitter now

A new year is coming and no one is falling short of reasons to celebrate. While some are on their toes to go on travel sprees, some are gearing up for new year parties. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan just got a million dollar reason to celebrate.

Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’, where our all time favourite SRK-Kajol pair made their on-screen comeback once more, is a super-success at the box office. Adding to that joy, number of followers that Shah Rukh Khan has on his official twitter handle, just crossed 17 million!

The super star had joined Twitter on 3rd January, 2010. The coming 3rd January marks the completion of his 5 years as a Twitterati. Since the first day, he has been one of the most celebrated Bollywood stars on Twitter. His fans ans followers are evidently overjoyed with this; so much that ‘SRK17million’ has been trending on Twitter since morning.

Right now, Shah Rukh Khan is the second most followed Indian on Twitter, after Amitabh Bachchan who tops the chart with over 18 million followers.
