LIVE UPDATE: Sridevi’s autopsy report given clearance, Boney Kapoor’s statement recorded

Sridevi took her last breathe in Dubai on Saturday night and since then all have been waiting for her mortal remains to be brought back to India. Though there have been delays because of the extensive procedures by the Dubai government we now have latest updates.

Reportedly the family has been given the autopsy reports after the Dubai police gave its clearance. It is also said that the Dubai police has recorded a statement of Sridevi’s husband, Boney Kapoor as he was reportedly present in the hotel room when Sridevi collapsed.

The actress’ mortal remain is expected to leave from Dubai between 1-2 pm (3-4 pm India time) which means that by evening it will reach Mumbai. According to the reports the cremation will take place today and the preparations and fumigation at the Pawan Hans crematorium are underway.

Talking about the actress’ death, it is said that she suffered a massive cardiac arrest and passed away even before she was taken to the hospital. While one reports states that the hotel staff had found her in the bathroom, the other report suggests that it was Boney who found her lying in the bathtub, unconscious.
