Lok Sabha Election 2019: Anil Kapoor reveals why he couldn’t cast his vote

From Shah Rukh Khan to Rekha to Madhuri Dixit, we have seen several Bollywood celebs cast their precious votes for the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Not just that, these celebs have also appealed to their fans to vote for the nation. Among B-town celebs, actor Anil Kapoor could not cast his vote for 2019 elections because of medical reasons. The ‘Fanney Khan’ actor had an appointment with his doctor in Germany.

Recently, at an event, when Anil Kapoor was quizzed about why he did not cast his vote for the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the actor revealed that he and his wife Sunita Kapoor had to gone to Germany for his medical appointment. Anil Kapoor said, “I was with my doctor in Munich kyunki yeh appointment maine 1-1.5 saal pehle li thi. Jaise ki sabko pata hai, I have this calcification in my shoulder and exactly usi din meri appointment thi. 4 din ki appointment hoti hai, toh Sunita aur main dono wahaan Munich mein the.”

He also clarified that he tried to vote while he was in Germany, but was unable to vote. He said, “Humne wahaan embassy mein bhi koshish ki, magar wahaan yeh sab cheezein nahi thi, ki hum wahaan jaa kar vote kar sake. Mujhe lagta hai future mein yeh hona chahiye ki kahin bhi hum ho, kuch embassy mein jaa ke hum vote de sake. That will be very good.”
