Look what we found. The slam book page of Aishwarya Rai! Or is it?

Remember those ‘slam books’ that went crazy popular during the 90s? The ones which were in vogue in a world sans smartphones and internet, where we spilled all our secrets and made promises to meet once school was over? Yes, those were the times, and seems like our Bollywood celebs too were not untouched by the trend. Yesterday, a slam book entry of none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was doing rounds, and people got all exited and nostalgic about it.

But wait, is it true, or is it just some fake thing doing rounds, as we love to lap up any news of our beloved celebrities?

So this was the entry that was doing rounds. It was shared by one of the fan clubs of Aishwarya, as the diva herself does not have a Twitter handle.

As much as we would like to believe that this is Aishwarya’s handwritten teenage confessions, these are not. On observing keenly, we found that this was in fact a feature in a popular magazine, where a candid celeb interview is published in the form of ‘slam book’ entries.

Sorry to burst the bubble guys, but this is a very much grown up and celeb Aishwarya Rai speaking up, not the teenage one.
