Look test for Alia Bhatt’s next film ‘Raazi’ begins

She received huge accolades for her performance in her last three releases namely ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, ‘Dear Zindagi’ and ‘Udta Punjab’. Moving on, Alia Bhatt is now set to begin her next film ‘Raazi’ opposite Vicky Kaushal!

We came across make-up artist Puneet B Saini’s Instagram and learnt, Alia has began undergoing look tests for the same! Puneet shared a funny boomerang video, and wrote, “Look tests started … with THIS CUTIE @aliaabhatt ?!!! For RAAZI

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, ‘Raazi’ revolves around a Kashmiri woman who is married to a Pakistani army officer and is a spy to the Indian army. The film is based on 1971 war between the two countries.

“I’m going through one of the most extensive preparations for this film. The last time I did something like this, was for ‘Udta Punjab’. But that also was only with the dialect. ‘Raazi’ is about dialect, body language and things like driving a big heavy jeep… Shifting those gears is a different ball game for me altogether. I am learning Urdu so it’s also going to help me in the longer run. I’m playing with the language for over a month now and every day, I am sitting with it for hours. I know most of my dialogues by heart right now because I have been reading them over and over again. I am having a lot of fun with it,” Alia said, during a conversation with DNA.

The film is set to go on floors in few months.
