Anil Kapoor’s son, Harshvardhan Kapoor, made his Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’ this year opposite Saiyami Kher. The movie did not live up to audience expectations and there were speculations in the media that Salman Khan has been churning out career advice to this young Kapoor lad. On the contrary, Harshvardhan denied these reports and clarified that Salman Khan is not giving him any career advice or helping him land meaty roles. Well, maybe not Salman Khan, but Shah Rukh Khan definitely has some career advice for Harshvardhan.

Recently, in an interview with a web portal, SRK was asked to give some career advice to the newbie. Here’s what he said, “Dear Harshvardhan, Follow your gut. If you are unique, you will become a big star. If you aspire to be what you want, you will face obstacles but overall, if you continue doing that, you will definitely be unique. Like I remember we were talking about this in an earlier interview. Anushka had said that actors should do what they want to and not what people want them to.”
