Looop Lapeta: Taapsee Pannu looks uber-cool in the first look of this new-age thriller-comedy

Taapsee Pannu’s first look from Looop Lapeta is out! The actress took to her Instagram handle to share her look as Savi. In the pic, Taapsee is seen in a never-seen-before avatar. In the pic, we see Taapsee sitting in a toilet and holding a piece of paper in her hand. She donned a green tee, black shorts and a pair of matching shoes. Sharing the uber-cool look, she wrote, “Life mein kabhi kabhaar aisa time aata hai jab humein khud se yeh sawaal karna padta hai “How did I end up here?” main bhi yahi soch rahi thi. No, not the shit pot, but the shit life! Hi, this is Savi and welcome on board a crazy ride #LooopLapeta(sic)”

Directed by advertising maverick Aakash Bhatia, the new-age thriller-comedy is headlined by Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin. Backed by Sony Pictures Films India, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Aayush Maheshwari, it is releasing in 2021.

For the unversed, Looop Lapeta is an official remake of the 1998 German film Run Lola Run. Directed by Tom Tykwer, it was Germany’s official entry at 1999 Oscars in the Best Foreign Language Film category. But it didn’t bag the award.

Earlier, while announcing the film, Taapsee wrote, “Right, so here’s yet another announcement from my stable. I’m on a roll. Or shall I say in a loop? Stoked to announce Sony Picture India and Ellipsis Entertainment’s crazy thriller-comedy, “LOOOP LAPETA”, an adaptation of the cult classic “Run Lola Run.”
