Looop Lapeta: Taapsee Pannu gets a special shoutout from Run Lola Run actress Franka Potente, watch VIDEO

Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin starrer Looop Lapeta has premiered on Netflix on February 4. For the unversed, the Bollywood movie is the official remake of acclaimed German movie Run Lola Run, starring Franka Potente and Moritz Bleibtreu. The 1998 German experimental thriller was written and directed by Tom Tykwer. Actress Franka Potente, has a special message for the film’s team and Taapsee. Taking to her Twitter handle, Potente posted the video, and wished Taapsee ‘good luck’ and said that she can’t wait to watch Looop Lapeta. The same video was shared by Taapsee on her Instagram handle.

Franka said in the video, “Hi guys, this is Franka. I think it is so exciting that you’re shooting a remake of Run Lola Run after all these years. I am honoured, I think it’s really cool so I just wanted to wish you good luck. Good luck to Taapsee, I’m sure you’ll be amazing and I can’t wait to see the film.”

Taapsee was elated by this gesture of Franka. She wrote, “This makes it special looooooop number of times! Thank you, Franka! It’s launch day for #LooopLapeta & here we have the OG Savi, loooped along to win our hearts ?♾?.”

Bollywood Bubble’s review of Looop Lapeta read: “As a concept, Looop Lapeta is interesting. It has the right amount of comedy and tragedy which has the potential to be a decent entertainer, but somehow it feels like a half-baked effort”.
