Looop Lapeta: Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin starrer gets a release date

Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin starrer Looop Lapeta gets a release date. It is all set to release in theatres nationwide on October 22, 2021. Taapsee took to social media to announce the release date of the comic thriller. Taapsee is playing Savi while Tahir plays the role of Satya, Taapsee’s on-screen boyfriend. It is a new-age movie that shows the roller-coaster ride of a girl and a boy played by Taapsee and Tahir. Directed by Aakash Bhatia, Looop Lapeta is bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India, Ellipsis Entertainment and Aayush Maheshwari.

The film is a Hindi adaptation of the German blockbuster, Run Lola Run. Directed by Tom Tykwer, it was Germany’s official entry at the 1999 Oscars in the Best Foreign Language Film category. But it failed to get the award.

Looop Lapeta is currently in the post-production stage. Recently, Taapsee landed into controversy along with Anurag Kashyap as there were raids on their homes and offices by the Income Tax department.

On the work front, Taapsee has many interesting projects in her kitty. She has wrapped up the shoot of Rashmi Rocket. Directed by Akarsh Khurana, the film also stars Priyanshu Painyuli and Abhishek Banerjee. She will also star in Haseen Dillruba opposite Vikrant Massey and Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaara. She will also be seen in a Tamil film with Vijay Sethupathi.
