‘Lootcase’ actor Vijay Raaz arrested in a molestation case

Veteran actor Vijay Raaz was arrested by Gondia police in a molestation case. The actor allegedly molested a woman crew member on the sets of the film ‘Sherni’.

According to the reports, Raaz was arrested from a hotel in Gondia in Maharashtra. ANI reported that Raaz was arrested yesterday. Speaking to ANI, Atul Kulkarni, Additional SP, Gondia said, “Actor Vijay Raaz was arrested from Gondia yesterday allegedly for molesting a woman crew member. A case has been registered.”

As per a report in Latestly, the victim had filed a case against Vijay in Ramnagar Police Station on November 2. The incident took place on the sets of the film ‘Sherni’ which stars actress Vidya Balan in the lead role. The film is directed by Amit Masurkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar.

On the work front, Vijay was last seen in the comedy-drama ‘Lootcase’. The 57-year-old actor also has films like ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Gulaabo Sitabo’,  ‘Welcome’, ‘Deewane Hue Paagal’, ‘Raghu Romeo’, ‘Monsoon Wedding’ and ‘Dhamaal’ to name a few.
