‘Love Aaj Kal’s Arushi Sharma is all praise for Taapsee Pannu; says, “She is the hero and heroine both”

Arushi Sharma made her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’ where she played a small role and very few people noticed her in the movie. But, her character of Leena in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ caught everyone’s attention. The starlet won everyone’s hearts when ‘Love Aaj Kal’ released. When the movie hit the theatres, she was raved for her performance. Her quirky dance with Raghu (Kartik Aaryan), her innocence to making decisions in her life, Arushi as Leena aced her part. We didn’t feel that it was Arushi’s first movie as the parallel lead.

Arushi believes in positivity and she feels that as an aspiring actor, everyone should follow their passion no matter what. While talking to us, Arushi said, “The only way forward is to keep working on yourself. As a professional, you should keep learning all the time and upskill yourself and there is no end to it.”

When we asked Arushi about her ideals from the industry, the pretty actress said that she is a huge fan of Kajol and calls her both ‘star and a performer’. “Kajol is my favourite. The person she is, the way she acts, the joyous person she is, I am her huge fan,” said Arushi.

Arushi would love to work with Taapsee Pannu and she was all praise for the ‘Thappad’ actress. “She is the hero and heroine both. She is so unique and I haven’t seen anyone like her. She has her own niche which is so tough. She has created her own category that is the ‘Taapsee Pannu category’ which is very inspirational,” said the ‘Love Aaj Kal’ actress.

Well, we wish Arushi’s dream of working with Taapsee comes true.
