‘Love Aaj Kal’: Sara Ali Khan-Kartik Aaryan’s intimate scenes chopped off by CBFC

Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’ is creating all the right buzz. Fans of Sara and Kartik are eagerly waiting to see them spreading magic on screens with their chemistry. In the trailer, we saw a few romantic and intimate scenes between Sara and Kartik which made us assume that there will be more to it in the movie. Also, we see them indulging in a passionate lip-lock.

Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) who usually trims intimate scenes from movies is at it again. It has passed the movie a U/A certificate but most of the intimate scenes have been chopped off. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the kissing scene that is at the very beginning of the film has been reduced and modified. They even asked the producers to blur the visuals of cleavage that is shown after the intimate scene.

In another scene, there was a sexually abusive word that has been replaced with a less objectionable word, ‘a**’. The words ‘f**k’, ‘f*****g’ are also muted. CBFC has also asked for the removal of the scene where the actors are undressing in the second half.

The total length of the film is 2 hours 21 minutes. Apart from Kartik and Sara, the movie also stars Randeep Hooda and Arushi Sharma. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the romantic flick is releasing on February 14.
