Bollywood has a list of movies that had faced controversies before it’s release and there are some that haven’t yet seen the light of the day. The latest to fall prey to controversies is Salman Khan‘s production ‘Love Yatri’ that marks the debut of his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and newbie Warina Hussain.
‘Love Yatri’ faced trouble owing to its title which had apparently hurt Hindu sentiments. On September 12, a case was lodged at the Mithanpura police station after an order passed by Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (East) Shailendra Rai. The complaint was filed by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha who had alleged that the title of the film hurt the sentiments of the festival Navratri. The court gave orders to file an FIR against Salman Khan and 7 other actors.
Later on, Salman Khan changed the title of the film to ‘Love Yatri’ ensuring that there wouldn’t be any controversies in the future and it will get a smooth release. Salman himself took to his social media to announce the change of the title with a new poster. He wrote, “This is not a spelling mistake… #loveyatri #lovetakesover…@SKFilmsOfficial @aaysharma @Warina_Hussain @abhiraj21288 @TSeries.”

Now yet another case has been filed in Gujarat against the director of the film Abhiraj Minawala, Salman Khan and censor board chairman. The FIR has been registered by residents Megha Ben Purohit and Praveen Tarbada of Vadodara with the help of their lawyer, Ranjan Kumar Jha in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate for degrading ‘Garba’.
The case will be heard on September 27, 2018, in Vadodara court. We can just hope the movie to get out of all the mess and release smoothly on 5th October 2018.
