While we were still coming on terms with the news of Sonali Bendre’s diagnosis of cancer, there came another shocker in the form of musician Lucky Ali‘s cryptic tweet about cancer. Yesterday, morning, the 59-year-old had put a tweet, which read, “Dear Chemo therapy you should not be an option..ever…”. Ali’s words spread like wildfire on the web, with his fans wishing him a speedy recovery.
However, seeing the mess created by his tweet, Lucky soon put a tweet clarifying that he isn’t suffering from the life-threatening disease. Giving us a sigh of relief, He wrote, “By Allah’s Grace I’m FINE and Thankyou everyone for your love and concern. I was ranting against Chemotherapy because young people are being diagnosed with cancers and Losing hope when there are other Holistic Cures. So it was just one of those ones. Love Always.”

Meanwhile, explaining his stance to a leading daily, Ali said, “I didn’t write that message to freak people out. My friend died of the disease and I wanted to warn people against chemotherapy. I’m totally fine, sitting in the Himalayas.”
Phew! We are glad that the singer is hale and hearty!
