How ‘Luka Chuppi’ gives a new twist to live in relationships

‘Luka Chuppi’ starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon is a present day love story that is set in the small town of Mathura, a town immersed in rituals and spirituality. So what happens when new age ideas meet the traditional era? Well, the end result is CHAOS.

The same happens to our simple Guddu who is a television reporter. The handsome young man falls in love with a headstrong woman Rashmi who completes her education and returns to her hometown with some new age ideas in her mind about marriage.

When Guddu proposes marriage, Rashmi insists on a live in relationship. The Laxmi Utekar directorial then focuses on the two characters who decide to go for a live in but a big surprise is in store for them. Yes, their entire family joins in too with them.

Then on, the film is a laugh riot as Guddu and Rashmi try to convince their family to adopt the new concept. In between the hilarity, there is also an underlying message for not only the millennials but also their parents.

A unique love story with an underlying message that will remain with you for a long time much after you leave the theatres. It makes you question whether or not marriage is a good option for the present generation. Or is live in better?

‘Luka Chuppi’ is set to hit theatres and make you go ROFL on March 1.
