‘Luka Chuppi’ goes on floors and Kriti Sanon-Kartik Aaryan are all excited!

Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan’s much-awaited film ‘Luka Chuppi’ has finally gone on floors today. Marking the first day of the shoot, the actors treated their fans with a photo from the sets of the film.

In the photo, the duo can be seen sharing a laugh together. Kriti Sanon shared the photo with a caption which read as, “To New Beginnings.. #LukaChuppi Day1  @TheAaryanKartik @MaddockFilms @Laxman10072 #DineshVijan”

In an early interview, Dinesh shared some details about the two characters and the film. “The story will travel from Mathura to Gwalior and Agra. Kartik plays the star reporter of a local TV channel in Mathura.” Kriti plays a Mathura girl who goes to Delhi to study and then returns to her hometown. “While Kartik is the quintessential good boy every girl wants to take home to mamma, Kriti represents today’s youth who advocate gender equality and have their own ideology,” Dinesh said.

Kriti is originally from Delhi and Kartik is a Gwalior boy. Talking about the same, Dinesh added, “The dialogues have a touch of the local dialect and being from the region, both are familiar with the setting and the lingo.” This primarily prompted Vijan to get them on board. “They also have a crackling chemistry.”

‘Luka Chuppi’ will also be Laxman Utekar’s directorial debut, who has been the DoP of ‘Hindi Medium’ among other films. Produced under the banner of Maddock Films, the film will roll in August this year.
