Luv Sinha confirms not attending Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding, says, “The reasons are very clear as to why I wouldn’t associate with certain people”

Sonakshi Sinha married her longtime beau Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, 2024, in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. However, the absence of her brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha, sparked significant online discussion. Luv Sinha has now responded to the speculation, confirming his decision to skip the wedding and explaining his reasons. When questioned about his absence, Luv Sinha told the Hindustan Times that he needed a day or two to address the inquiries if he chose to do so.

Luv took to Twitter to clarify his stance, writing, “The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend and would not associate with certain people, no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team.”

In another tweet, Luv mentioned that news stories about the wedding were curated with a focus on his family business, omitting details about the groom’s father’s connections to a politician and his time in Dubai. He highlighted the media’s selective reporting, noting, “There was no mention of the groom’s father’s connections to a politician, whose ED inquiries had reportedly been resolved quietly. Additionally, there was no mention of the groom’s father’s time spent in Dubai.”

On June 30, Luv Sinha took to Instagram to further explain his absence from Sonakshi’s wedding. Responding to critics, he wrote, “The reason for my decision not to attend. Trying to run an online campaign against me based on false assumptions won’t alter the fact that my family will always be my top priority.”
