Ma Anand Sheela sends a notice to Priyanka Chopra; Says she wants Alia Bhatt for her biopic

Priyanka Chopra on several occasion has said that she will be part of Ma Anand Sheela’s biopic and will also star in it. But according to the latest report, Ma Anand Sheela does not approve of PeeCee starring in her biopic. Instead, she wants ‘Raazi’ actress Alia Bhatt in her biopic!

As per a report in Hindustan Times, Ma Anand Sheela was asked if she sent Priyanka Chopra a legal notice after knowing that she will be starring in her biopic. Ma Anand Sheela said that she sent PeeCee an email which is considered a legal notice in Switzerland. “I told her I do not give her permission to do [the] film because I have not chosen her… In Switzerland, we send legal notices very simply. I sent her an email which is accepted there as legal,” shared Ma Anand Sheela.

Sheela also spoke about the time when she thought that Alia Bhatt was a better fit for her role. “I saw bits of her film that my sister was watching, and I thought, I looked like her when I was young. I asked my sister, ‘Did I look like her when I was young? Do you remember’? And she said, ‘Yes, you do’. I feel she has the spunk in her that I had. Spunk is very necessary and it is very natural, it is not artificial, not cosmetic, it is genuine,” she added further.

Sheela further shared that she is yet to hear from Priyanka’s team. She revealed, “Not even a courtesy letter that they received my notice but that’s not an issue, maybe she never had the opportunity to meet me or make time to meet me and it is no big issue… not everybody has the time to meet me.”
