Maanyata Dutt out of danger, discharged from hospital

Actor Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanyata Dutt has been discharged from Global Hospital and is back home now. She has been diagnosed with a non-malignant tumour and has been asked to take complete bed rest and stick to a nutritious diet. Manayata was admitted to the hospital on January 8 after she fell unconscious in her house. Subsequent tests revealed water retention in her left lung, which later spread to the right one. She then underwent surgery twice, the first one took place on January 11 while the second one was carried out on January 22.

As per sources, Dr Ajay Chaughule, who has been treating Manayata, says, “Biopsy results show that her tumour is non-malignant. Since she has become very weak, she will have to visit me for weekly check-ups. Sanjay Dutt has been by her side all along and he is now taking care of Manayata and their kids.”

Sanjay Dutt has been released on parole from Yerawada Jail to take care of his wife and children. His parole has been extended till the third week of February.
