Maanyata Dutt trying to be the peacemaker between Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt‘s wife Maanyata Dutt is apparently trying to break the ice between once-friends Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan. Sanjay and Salman shared a friendship which almost became an example; given that in Bollywood, only few relationships are genuine and even fewer last. However, ever since Dutt has walked out of the prison after serving a jail term of five years, things have not been the same between him and Salman.

It so happened that Katrina Kaif, who also happens to be Salman’s former girlfriend’ was allegedly brought aboard to play the female lead in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. Some say that might have irked bitterness between the two once besties. Also, Dutt fired his manager who had been suggested by Salman, which further did not go too well with ‘Bhaijaan’! Since then, the two have been avoiding each other.

“Maanyata is eager to play peacemaker between the two stars, who are not on talking terms and are going to great lengths to ensure they don’t cross each other’s paths. She wants to bring an end to the cold war and revive the long-standing bond,” a source revealed to a leading portal.

“Maanyata does not want the negativity to fester. She wants them to swallow their pride and get back to being best of buddies. She has already convinced Dutt to let bygones be bygones. Now, she is trying to reach out to Salman by sending messages of peace to put the misunderstanding behind them,” they added.

Let’s see if the two listen to Manyata and rekindle their friendship, or choose to stay like strangers forever.
