Sanjay Leela Bhansali has already commenced the shooting of his next period drama, ‘Padmavati’ starring Deepiika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead. And it was the leading lady of the film, who made SLB emotional on the first day of shoot.

As soon as the shoot of ‘Padmavati’ commenced, Deepika made an entry on the sets in her Rani Padmavati avatar and bowled over the director. The filmmaker was mesmerised by Deepika Padukone’s beauty and was also impressed by her look.

Source confirm that when the film went on floors, Sanjay saw Deepika heading towards the set dressed as Rani Padmavati for the first time and that was the moment he finally believed that the film has been started. ‘Padmavati’ is SLB’s dream venture and it was absolutely natural for him to see Deepika and believe his dream was coming true.
