Madhu Chopra answers to question on Priyanka’s marriage with Nick!

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have taken the internet by storm! There are hardly some days when news about them is not making headlines. Recently, there were rumours about the two of them getting engaged soon and this has got everyone curious. We all are waiting to know some update of this, and now, Priyanka’s mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra has spoken about it.

While Priyanka, who turns 36 today, is away from the city celebrating her birthday with Nick, her mother was snapped at an event yesterday. There was a small interaction held after the event and during that time, a journalist asked Madhu Chopra if the family was serious about Priyanka’s wedding. To this, she said, “Aap serious hai ki nahi, woh batao pehle. Aap serious hai toh hum bhi ho jayenge. (Let me know if you are serious, if you are then we shall also become serious about it).”

This may have been a diplomatic reply, but does this mean that things are really serious?

Last month, Priyanka and Nick were in India to meet Dr. Madhu Chopra. On the same day they landed, Priyanka, Nick and Dr. Chopra were spotted outside a restaurant in BKC.

Speaking about their family dinner, Mrs Chopra had told DNA, “We just went out for dinner where Nick was present. But it was a large group. There were 10-odd people, so I didn’t get the time to know him that well.”

When the daily asked Dr. Chopra about her views on the American singer, she said, “I’ve met him for the first time, so it’s too early to form an opinion.”
