Desi girl Priyanka Chopra after playing hide and seek regarding dating Nick Jonas for a few months finally got engaged to singer-songwriter on August 18 in a traditional roka ceremony in Mumbai.

Much to everyone’s delight Nick and his parents were seen wearing traditional outfits at the roka ceremony. Interestingly Nick’s mother Denise Jonas was seen wearing salwar Kameez and a beautiful saree at the engagement party. It looked like the Jonas family were having a great time with the Chopra family as they were introduced to Indian traditions and customs.

But looks like apart from wearing Indian outfits, Nick’s parents also got a glimpse of how Punjabis celebrate any occasion. Denise Jonas recently shared a video on her Instagram account, in which she can be seen trying her best to match steps with Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra. Denise captioned the clip as, “Thank you @madhumalati for being patient with my lack of dance skills! I miss you. #engagementparty”

It so nice that both the Chopra and Jonas family are embracing each other traditions and customs so happily. We are now eagerly waiting for the wedding of Priyanka and Nick as we are quite sure that it would be one of the best one.

Reportedly, Priyanka and Nick are planning to get married in October this year. Before that, the couple apparently will be attending Nick’s friend’s wedding in Italy. If this news turns out to be true then this will be the first time they will be attending a social function as an engaged couple.
