Madhur Bhandarkar’s next titled ‘Main, Indu’

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar‘s known for critically acclaimed films like ‘Page 3’ and ‘Fashion’ is now reportedly all set with his next film titled ‘ Main, Indu’ .Even though there has been no official confirmation from Madhur Bhandarkar, the story of the film will revolve around 21 months of emergency, between June 25, 1975 and March 21, 1977.

Reports also state that the film’s main character Indu has no reference to late Indira Gandhi or any real-life character, but it’s a stammering female poet who rebels against the system.

Madhur Bhandarkar apparently met BJP leader LK Advani, political writers like Tavleen Singh, Coomi Kapoor and Kuldeep Nayyar. Besides them he also met a lot of communist people and also victim of emergency as part of the research for this project.

We are still waiting for official announcement from Madhur Bhandarkar.
