Legendary choreographer Saroj Khan breathed her last on Friday morning. She died due to cardiac arrest. She was 71. After the death of Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput, Saroj’s death comes as yet another blow to the film industry. Actress Madhuri Dixit was very close to Saroj Khan and together they have given some of the iconic songs to Hindi film lovers. Madhuri is devastated by the death of the veteran choreographer.
Madhuri took to her Twitter handle to express her grief. Condoling Saroj’s death, the actress wrote, “I’m devastated by the loss of my friend and guru, Saroj Khan. Will always be grateful for her work in helping me reach my full potential in dance. The world has lost an amazingly talented person. I will miss you My sincere condolences to the family. #RIPSarojji”

The veteran choreographer was admitted in a Bandra hospital last month after she complained of breathlessness. Unfortunately, earlier today she died due to cardiac arrest.

Reportedly Saroj’s funeral took place in Malad, whereas her prayer meet will be held next week.
