Madhuri Dixit promotes ‘Gulaab Gang’ in Mumbai

Actress Madhuri Dixit was seen promoting her movie ‘Gulaab Gang’ that is directed by Soumik Sen. The ‘Dhak-dhak girl’ said at a conference in Mumbai that her film focuses on empowerment of women and how they can define their own ‘self’ in the society.

As per sources, Mad’s said,”My film ‘Gulaab Gang’ talks about women empowerment. It is an empowerment in a lot of ways. First of all, education is very necessary for all women. You see in society a lot of times, the socio-economic background becomes a barrier to many girls and they cannot afford education and they prefer the boys to be educated.”

She further added , “This film tries to say that the girls need to be educated because she needs to give the resource so that she can stand on her own feet, be independent and in that she respects her self to begin with and later the society respects her.”

The film has Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla working together for the first time and will hit screens  on 7 March.
