Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Khal Nayak’ to have a sequel? Here’s what the actress has to say

There have always been speculations surrounding the sequel of the hit 1993 film ‘Khal Nayak’. But, Madhuri Dixit, who was the leading lady in the movie doesn’t seem to have any idea about these speculations at all. The actress recently opened up about being part of the superhit’s sequel and she said that it was a surprise to know that a sequel is in talks.

We had seen Madhuri Dixit in ‘Khal Nayak’ and also how can we forget its one of the most popular songs ‘Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai’. The song was an absolute chartbuster. It has been a dream of her fans to see her once again on-screen in the same avatar.

According to a report by IANS, when Madhuri was asked about the film’s sequel, she replied, “That’s news to me. I have no idea. It is a surprise for me.” 

The plot of ‘Khal Nayak’ revolved around the escape of criminal Ballu (Sanjay Dutt) by the cop Ram (Jackie Shroff) and his girlfriend, officer Ganga (Madhuri). Madhuri was asked if the sequel will continue from where they left off and she said, “It depends on the script, how they are planning to do, where they want to shoot. I think we will take things as they come.”

The Dhak Dhak girl also revealed that she has given no thought to any sequel of her movies. As of now, her main focus is only to get back to the studio after the lockdown, “After the lockdown, I will resume my projects like ‘Dance Deewane’ and a Netflix project. I will be back to the studios.”
