Why is Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ being promoted only in Delhi?

The Dancing Diva Madhuri Dixit is once again back with her next Dedh Ishqiya . It is a sequel to the hit Ishqiya starring Vidya Balan. But the promotions of the movie are facing a problem due to Mad’s high profile expensive security cover  that the makers are unable to afford. This Abhishek Chaubey’s movie is made on medium budget so when they found that the promotion will be costing them around 5/6 lakhs per city they ditched the idea.

As per sources, “The film has a budget of around Rs 16-17 crore so it makes no sense to spend Rs 6-7 lakh on city promotions. Madhuri has a strong fan following and the security arrangements have to be very proper.We decided not to go to other cities, except Delhi keeping the budget in mind.”

City tours had been planned for Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur and Indore. Now it seems they will be promoting the movie only in Delhi. All thanks to Madhuri Dixits huge fan following .
