Madhurima Tuli to play a journalist in web series ‘India Strikes -10 Days’

Actress Madhurima Tuli is all set to feature in Amazon Prime’s web series India Strikes – 10 Days, where she will be portraying the role of a journalist. The web series is based on 2016 Uri attacks, The series will also include Amit Sadh, Darshan Kumar and Neeraj Kabi. Madhurima is best known for playing Akshay Kumar’s wife in the film ‘Baby’, which released in 2015.

Talking about her preparation for the role Madhurima told Mid-Day that playing the role of a journalist was not easy and to get a better understanding of the role she interacted with journalists. The series is based on the book “India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes” by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.

“Playing a journalist may seem quite simple, but it is far from that. It is a tough job,” she says. Madhurima is hoping that the series makes people realise what exactly happened during the Uri attacks, reported Mid-Day.

Previously sharing her excitement about being a part of this show Madhurima was quoted saying in The Statesman as, ” I love being part of the substantial and engaging content. ‘India Strikes-10 days’ is a great story and I am thrilled to be part of it.”

Madhurima is known for her work in Hindi and South Indian film industry and has appeared in films like ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ and ‘Naam Shabana’. She has even played the role of a princess Chandrakanta in the fantasy television series Chandrakanta.
