The anniversary of a war that happened 200 years ago, had never been so ironical. A community celebrating the same, and another started protests and riots in Mumbai yesterday, calling for a statewide shut down. Amidst all the chaos, with the routes being diverted and infrastructure being hampered, how could Bollywood remain unaffected?
Owing to the unrest, two of the events that were scheduled to happen today, have been postponed. (Also Read: Sanskari Babuji becomes A-Sanskari! Alok Nath in ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ will surprise you)
The first event was that of the trailer launch of Sanjay Suri’s thriller ‘My Birthday Song’. The actor tweeted the same. “Due to Maharashtra bandh today, we have decided to push our ‘My Birthday Song’ trailer release to tomorrow January 4, 2018. Thank you.”

Not just this, the song launch event of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ has also been postponed. The makers were to release the second song ‘Subah Subah’ today, along with the lead stars Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, and Sunny Singh and the composers and singers.
Looks like the bandh has affected the industry too. We just pray for all to be well soon so that lives are back on track.
