Mahesh Bhatt tried calling Rhea Chakraborty the day Sushant Singh Rajput died; the actor’s lawyer reacts to Whatsapp chats

Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case is currently under investigation. After the Supreme Court’s verdict, the CBI has taken over the investigation. Amidst this, Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s chats with Mahesh Bhatt, a few days prior to Sushant’s death and on the day of his death have been making the rounds of the internet. Mahesh had tried to call Rhea the day Sushant passed away but didn’t get a response.

According to a report by India Today, new chats between Mahesh and Rhea have been making revealed.  These show that on June 14th (the day Sushant passes away) at 2.35 pm Bhatt had asked Rhea to call him, and then there were two missed calls on Rhea’s phone from Bhatt.

Talking about the earlier chats, Rhea had informed Mahesh the day she left Sushant’s residence, she wrote, “Aisha moves on..sir..with a heavy heart and sense of relief.”

Reacting to the leaked chats, Sushant’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh told Times Of India, “There is a certain chance of her being taken into custody for questioning as she is the prime accused in the case.” He further added, “She has said just the opposite in her statement, where she said that Sushant had asked her to leave the house. This is damaging for her. I wonder who has leaked the chat. Is she trying to shift the blame? She cannot shift the blame. If she is going to shift blame in this manner, it is going to implicate her more.”
