After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, there has been a lot of unrest on social media among his fans as they have been bashing the B-Town biggies for the prevailing nepotism and also blaming them for Sushant’s death. One of those biggies is filmmaker and Alia Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt. He was recently brutally slammed when he spoke about a ‘free society’.

Bhatt took to his Twitter handle to write about the definition of a free society. He wrote, “My definition of a free society is a society where it is safe to be unpopular.” – Adlai Stevenson”

While this was quite insightful, it did not sit well with the trolls as they hit back at Bhatt with their definition of a free cinema. One wrote, “My definition of free cinema is a fraternity where it is safe to be an outsider and have no ‘cinema father’”. Another user wrote, “Which society you are taking about bollywood society or society of nepotism

Taking a dig at Bhatt someone wrote, “Yes u r right.. Sushant will be safe if he would be unpopular… but he was getting success and popularity so that he died…”
