Mahesh Bhatt gets Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s names written on his hands in mehendi

Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on April 14 in presence of their families and close ones. Ranbir-Alia’s wedding was an intimate affair. The couple was in Sabyasachi designed outfits and they looked dreamy. After taking the pheras, Alia posted a few pics from the wedding with a note on her Instagram handle. Well, it was a two-day affair that started from April 13 with pre-wedding ceremonies like mehendi. The Kapoors and Bhatts were present at RK’s residence Vastu for the festivities. Mahesh Bhatt got his daughter Alia’s and son-in-law’s names on his palms in mehendi. Isn’t it a sweet gesture?

Pooja Bhatt shared a few pictures from the mehendi ceremony, one picture was of Mahesh Bhatt where he was seen flaunting his mehendi.

Sharing the pic of her dad, Pooja wrote, “Written in the stars.. written on our father’s palms.. etched on hearts,for life & beyond. ♥️✨ #alia #ranbir #ranbiraliawedding”.

Coming back to Alia-Ranbir’s wedding, the former broke the stereotypes by opting for an ivory saree. She also ditched the bun and kept her hair open accessorising with hair band. Also, for the make-up, Alia went for a minimalist look. The varmalas were also in white flowers. Post the wedding, the newlyweds greeted the media and posed for the pics.

Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Rima Jain, Randhir Kapoor, Karan Johar and even Taimur and Jeh were seen dressed in shades mostly pink, pastels and golden.

Yesterday, Neetu confirmed that there will be no reception which was earlier said to have will be at Taj or at Vastu.
