Mahira, Mawra, Govinda, Arjun to come under one roof for THIS award show

We know that all is not well between India and Pakistan due to the Uri attacks that happened last year. The attacks have affected Bollywood as well, as many political parties went against the Pakistani actors working in Hindi films. Movies like ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, ‘Raees’, ‘Hindi Medium’, etc. had faced protests as there were Pakistani actors in it. However, later it was announced that no Pakistani actors would be signed for any Bollywood film and movies that had already been shot would get a clear release.

Earlier this year, when Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Raees’ was released, the lead actress of the film Mahira Khan was not even allowed to promote the film in India. She promoted the movie only in Dubai. Since these Pakistani actors were not allowed in India to promote the film, it will surely be difficult to see them at any award function too that will be taking place in the country this year. While we feel that Saba Qamar deserves all the debut awards this year, we wonder if she would be even getting a nomination.

So, while it would be almost impossible to see these Pakistani actors posing with Indian actors at the red carpet of an award function, one need not worry as soon an award function will take place in which we will get to see Pakistani and Indian actors together.

We are talking about Masala awards which will take place on December 13, 2017 in Dubai. The award function will be attended by Govinda, Boman Irani, Daisy Shah, Ankita Lokhande, Arjun Rampal,  Mahira Khan, Mawra Hocane, Saba Qamar and singer Bilal Saeed.
