Did the makers of ‘Coffee With D’ delete a few dialogues from the trailer because of threats?

Few days ago, the trailer of Sunil Grover-starrer ‘Coffee With D’ was released. The trailer showcased the journey of a journalist, and how he interviews one of the most wanted man ‘D’.

Well, in the trailer there were many dialogues that took us by surprise. For example, in one of the sequences, a vegetable seller was shown giving a byte to the journalist, saying that ‘D’ used to rob vegetables from him.

Here’s a transcript:

Arnab to Sabjiwala: Don D, aapke yaha se sabjiyaan kharidta tha?

Sabjiwala: Kharidta nahi tha har****or, churata tha!

In another scene, a policeman says, “Vo jo chasma pehenke ghumta hai na… mere haatho ka autograph chupane.”

There was also one scene in which a terrorist-like man says, “Jo tabehat se dhoya hai na usey.”

So, let us tell you this that these dialogues are no more a part of the trailer. Yes, the dialogues have been replaced by music in the same trailer. We wonder if this was done because the makers of the film received threats, as the grapevine is suggesting.

Directed by Vishal Mishra, ‘Coffee With D’ is slated to release on January 6.
