Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is one of the most hyped and anticipated movies of the year. With just a few days away from its release date, Animal has left the audience waiting with bated breaths to rush to the theatres. The recently dropped Animal trailer and the album have left everyone excited and the netizens cannot wait to watch the movie. Recently, the makers of Animal were promoting the movie in Hyderabad where they were asked a question regarding Animal sequel. Well, the manager and Chairman of T-series Bhushan Kumar had a very interesting reply.

Is Animal 2 on cards?

Needless to say that Animal has already got the audience excited and the possibility of a sequel might just leave everyone in a craze. Speaking of Animal 2, Bhushan Kumar said, “It is a surprise. You will come to know on the 1st of December.” That’s the release date of Animal. Usually, many movies are carrying post-credit scenes like the recently released Tiger 3 did, which gave a good glimpse of another YRF spy universe movie. It might be possible that the post-credit scenes of Animal may carry a hint of Animal 2.

As Animal has a long duration, surpassing 3 hours, Ranbir Kapoor addressed the same. He said, “We are releasing a film this long not because we feel arrogant about it. We felt that the story required that time to reach the audience in the best way possible. We have seen a cut of this film which was 3 hours and 49 minutes. And that cut was also entertaining.”

He also added, “Sandeep has worked very hard to bring the length down. We are hoping that the audience doesn’t get panicked by the length and experience cinema at its best.”

Animal is an upcoming movie helmed by famous director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Animal carries an impressive cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor among others. The Animal trailer dropped a while ago. It gives a good glimpse of the story of the troubled relationship between father (Anil Kapoor) and son (Ranbir Kapoor). Going by the trailer, it looks like Bobby Deol is playing the role of a menacing villain. The netizens have loved his performance in the trailer.

On this note, Animal is all set to hit the release date on 1st December, 2023. Interestingly, it is witnessing a box office clash with the Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur.
