Watch: Here’s what went into the making of Priyanka’s hot red wedding Lehenga

After keeping their wedding ceremonies a private affair, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas shared the pictures of both their weddings, Christian and Hindu on their respective Instagram handles. Both the wedding ceremonies were no less than a fairytale. The couple left no stone unturned to make their wedding a grand affair and when the pictures were out, we fell short of adjectives. The couture for the white wedding was designed by renowned designer Ralph Lauren and for the Indian wedding, Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed Priyanka and Nick from head-to-toe.

Sabyasachi has released a video of the making of Priyanka’s bridal lehenga and jewellery and we can see love written all over it. It is a Kanauj-Rose neo-traditional lehenga, specially designed by the ace designer. The video showcases the journey of how each and every intricate design and rose embroidery was done. Also in the video, we see Nick’s full name i.e Nicholas Jonas is hand-embroidered on the lehenga. Sabya also gives us glimpses of the making of her bridal jewellery and mangalsutra. The video ends with the sketch of the exquisite lehenga.

In a recent interview with NDTV, Priyanka revealed that her both wedding outfits were personalized and she got written all the words that are close to her.

After seeing this video, we are eagerly looking forward to the making video of Nick’s wedding ensemble. Nick wore a hand-quilted silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa.

Priyanka and Nick got married on December 1 and 2 at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace in presence of their families and close friends. The couple hosted their first wedding reception in the capital city on December 4 and as per the latest buzz, Priyanka and Nick are hosting their Mumbai reception on December 20.
