Shah Rukh Khan left his fans concerned after he was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering from a heatstroke. He was in the city to root for his team Kolkata Knight Riders as they won the IPL qualifiers match. As he fell ill, he was rushed to a hospital and now he has recuperated and returned to Mumbai. Now, Shah Rukh Khan Dil Se co-star Malaika Arora has reacted to his hospitalisation.
Malaika Arora reacts to Shah Rukh Khan suffering heatstroke
When Malaika was asked about the recent hospitalisation of Shah Rukh Khan due to dehydration, the actress told Instant Bollywood, “That’s why I keep saying, we have to be conscious and aware of our environment. That’s the only way the environment will love you back. But of course, with things like a heat wave, you cannot do much. So, stay hydrated, drink lots of water, wear cool, comfortable clothes, use sunscreen, and try carrying an umbrella. These are my tips that I can give.”
Juhi Chawla and Pooja Dadlani share update on SRK’s health
While SRK was still in the hospital on Wednesday, his Darr co-star and business partner Juhi Chawla had given his health update. She told News18, “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night, but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals.”
A day after SRK was hospitalised, his manager Pooja Dadlani released a statement on social media giving an update on his health. She wrote, “To all of Mr Khan’s fans and well wishers – he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers and concern”.
On the work front, SRK has not officially announced his next film, he is expected to feature in The King with Suhana. The film, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, is currently in pre-production and is targeting a 2025 big screen release.
