Is Malaika Arora the reason behind Arjun Kapoor-Athiya Shetty not being on talking terms?

A few years back, there were rumours of Arjun Kapoor dating Athiya Shetty. It all started when the duo were spotted together at a party. Arjun rubbished the rumours, but both grabbed the headlines then. Though there was a denial, reports suggested that Arjun and Athiya were in a relationship. But as Malaika entered in Arjun’s life and started getting close to Arjun’s family, he started maintaining distance and stopped talking to his ‘Mubarakan’ co-star.

As per a report in SpotBoye, Arjun and Athiya’s relationship ended on a bad note and they called it quits at Arjun’s residence. When they were in a relationship, Athiya was a frequent visitor at Arjun and Anshula’s house in Juhu. Athiya is a good friend of Anshula Kapoor, Arjun’s sister. She has not let the break-up affect her friendship with Anshula.

In B-town, these things are common and we get news of several relationships falling apart. Some manage to stay cordial post their break-ups while some turn a cold shoulder towards each other. We wish Arjun and Athiya solve all their differences and maintain a healthy friendship.

Arjun is currently dating Malaika Arora and if we go by the latest reports, both are likely to knot the knot this year. Both are seen hanging out together at restaurants, movies, parties or other events.

On the work front, Athiya will be seen in ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ with Nawazuddin Siddiqui while Arjun will star in ‘Panipat’ and ‘India’s Most Wanted’.
