Malaika Arora thanks well-wishers in first post since accident, says it felt like ‘a scene from a film’

Malaika Arora, who recently met with an accident has made her first Instagram post, ever since. She thanked her well-wishers for showering her with love. Malaika shared a calm photo of hers and penned a long note along with it. The actress made her first post and also spoke about her accident. She opened up about the aftermath of the accident, and how she felt. Malaika Arora made the Instagram post and mentioned she is on her road to recovery.

The Chhaiyya Chhaiyya fame spoke about the last few days since her accident. She wrote, “The last few days and the events that unfolded have been quite unbelievable. Thinking about it in retrospect feels like a scene from a film and not something that actually happened.”

Talking about after the accident, Malaika shared, “Thankfully, immediately after the accident, I felt like I was enveloped with the care from so many guardian angels – be it my staff, the people who helped me reach the hospital, my family who stood by me throughout this ordeal and the amazing hospital staff. My doctors ensured my safety in the most caring way possible at every step. They made me feel safe and secure instantly and I am so very grateful for that. And finally ofcourse the love that came in from my friends, family, my team and my Insta fam was just so reassuring.”

Arora further said, “Moments like these are not epiphanies but strong reminders that we must always offer gratitude to those – known and unknown – who shower you with love and good wishes at a time you need it the most.”

The actress thanked each and everyone for being there and making sure she comes out of the tough times with renewed vigour. She mentioned she is now on her road to recovery. And, Malaika even assured everyone, she is a fighter and will be back soon. She wrote, “I’m now on my road to recovery and I assure you, I’m a fighter and I’ll be back before you know it!”

For the unversed, Arora met with an accident on Saturday near Khopoli on the Mumbai-Pune Highway. The actress’ car faced severe damage during the accident. She was hospitalised at the Apollo hospital in Navi Mumbai. Arjun Kapoor was spotted outside Malaika’s residence on several occasions. He has visited her frequently. Arjun Kapoor had recently visited Malaika’s home with uncle Sanjay Kapoor. And was spotted leaving from the building premises.
