Malaika Arora praises Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd after she becomes the youngest self-made woman billionaire

Whitney Wolfe Herd, the 31-year-old founder and CEO of the online dating app Bumble, took her company public recently. Shares of the dating app soared 67% in its trading debut to USD 72, valuing Whitney’s stake at USD 1.5 billion, which made her the youngest self-made female billionaire to do that. Malaika Arora lauded Whitney for her massive success and for being an inspiration for all women out there.

Interestingly, Bumble’s executives and directors are majority female. Our very own Munni Badnam girl Malaika Arora praised Whitney on via her Instagram story. Malaika posted a story tagging the news on her Instagram. In the story, she wrote ‘Cheers to women’, indicating that the success of Bumble’s founder is a major feat not for her alone but for women all around the world.

Malaika has always lent her voice and support for women achievers. Little wonder that she herself tasted success pretty early on in life. On International Women’s Day, Malaika had spoken about women’s life choices and the importance of them finding their own happiness.
