Is Malavika Mohanan part of Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali? Actress reveals

Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been currently grabbing the headlines. While there have been reports of Shehnaaz Gill being part of the movie, there are also reports of actress Malavika Mohanan starring in the movie too. Well, the Beyond The Clouds actress clarified the rumours. There were reports that stated that Malavika will be kickstarting the film shoot soon. She has now denied it and wrote in her tweet that it’s ‘not true’ and added in her tweet, “Putting it out here as a lot of people have been asking me if I’m doing this”.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is directed by Farhad Samji and it also stars Pooja Hegde. It is slated to release in theatres in December. Recently, Salman shared his first look from the film as he started the shoot.

Malavika Mohanan appeared with Ishaan Khatter in the 2017 film, Beyond The Clouds. The diva made her South film debut with Rajinikanth-starrer Malayalam film, Pattam Pole. She will star in Yudhra opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi.

Meanwhile, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’s director has reacted to rumours of his creative differences with Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma. Recently, reports surfaced that Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush and Iqbaal Khan have backed out from the film and are replaced by Abhimanyu Dassani and Javed Jaffrey’s son Meezaan.

During an interview with Pinkvilla, Farhad rubbished all the rumours as he said, “Everyone is writing their own version of the film, but we have not made any official announcement. The media is either reading my mind or just doing some sort of prediction. I truly believe, that silence is golden.”
