Mallika Dua’s reply to Twinkle Khanna’s apology is unmissable

Looks like the fiasco is not getting over soon! Akshay Kumar’s remark on comedian Mallika Dua which many found sexist, stirred a controversy. While Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna is known to be unapologetically feminist and progressive, her response to this matter was a disappointment for the same.

However, Twinkle probably realised herself later. She wrote an open letter, apologising for her previous opinion and explained how her stand as a mother and a wife had taken over her usual rebellious self.

Now, Mallika has responded it and is quite a firm one!
“That’s the thing about parents. They are protective of their children whether they are 5 or whether they are 28,” she wrote. (Also Read: Twinkle Khanna renders an apology on her remarks against Mallika Dua)

For those uninitiated, Mallika’s father Vinod Dua took his daughter’s stand on Twitter, but had to delete his post later. When she claims parents are always protective about their children, she probably means Vinod taking her side was as natural as Twinkle looking at it from a mother’s perspective!
