Mallika Sherawat finally opens up about the attack on her in Paris

Few days ago, there were reports of Mallika Sherawat being attacked in Paris. It was said that the actress was attacked with the aim of robbing. The actress and her French boyfriend, Cyrille Auxenfans, were attacked from behind by three men who sprayed tear gas on them when they were in the hallway of the apartment building.

The actress on her Instagram account posted, “It takes more than 3 masked men to take me down, I am a strong woman. Talking to @cnn @cnni.”

Reportedly, the attackers pushed Sherawat to the ground and started hitting her boyfriend, and tried to grab her bag.

Mallika said, “He (Cyrille) was hurt a little bit. We both fought them off. I’m not going to let this change my life at all. I fought them off. They are strong men but I didn’t just cower down.”

Though the actress was not keen on giving any more detail about the robbery, she said, “It was extremely traumatic. No one should be made to suffer the insecurity of having their home broken into or the physical and mental abuse of such an attack.”

Mallika further stated that the tear gas temporarily blinded her and she was left with “a few bruises and marks” and “the feeling of having to look over your shoulder.”
