THIS television actress to mark her Bollywood debut with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Uri’

So apart from television hottie Mohit Raina, there’s one more television actress who will be making her silver screen debut with Aditya Dhar’s upcoming film ‘Uri’ and its none other than Manasi Parekh. The actress is popular for her role in shows like ‘Remote Control’, ‘Star Ya Rockstar’ and ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’ to name a few.

A report in Mumbai Mirror states that Manasi will be playing Vicky Kaushal‘s sister and Mohit Raina’s wife in the film. Talking about her role, the actress told the tabloid, “My role will showcase what the wives of officers go through when they are fighting for the country. Sharing the screen with Vicky, Mohit and Swaroop Sampat is really exciting for me after going on a maternity break in November 2016. I’ve been doing ads and shows since my daughter Nirvi was three months old but a good role in a Hindi film is the perfect comeback.”

Manasi also shared a picture of her co-stars from the sets of ‘Uri’ and captioned the lovely picture as, “Absolutely thrilled to be sharing screen space with these special people .. Vicky Kaushal is the find of the decade with one powerhouse performance after the other, Swaroop Sampat is class and elegance personified Mohit Raina is a talented hottie and baby Suhaana can give a veteran a run for their money ❤”

In ‘Uri’, both Vicky Kaushal and Mohit Raina will be seen playing army officers, and the film’s story revolves around the surgical strike carried out by Indian Special Forces. The film also stars Swaroop Sampat and Yami Gautam in a significant role.
