Mandana Karimi opens up about losing family members to Covid-19; says, “It has been unfortunate”

Coronavirus has claimed many lives. The count would be so high, it was unimaginable. Many celebrities as well have lost their loved ones to Covid-19. Actress Mandana Karimi too lost a few of her family members too, to Coronavirus. The actress had earlier opened up about being stuck in India due to the lockdown.

Mandana spoke to Bollywood Bubble about the tragic tales of being stuck in India away from her family due to the lockdown. Have a look at the chat right here below:

In an interview with Zoom Digital, Mandana spoke about her mother being stuck in Iran, she said, “Yeah mom is still there but unfortunately, we lost a couple of family members to COVID-19. This was last month and it was crazy for me. I am stuck here along with my two dogs at home, the economy is going really bad. There is so much going on with me last year where also, my mom was stuck there alone and somehow we managed to send her to my farmhouse. It was so strange that I can’t go to visit them and they can’t come here. And being on the phone and Zoom call, it was getting into my head because I used to get so exhausted and tired emotionally. But she is fine now and this whole situation has been unfortunate for a lot of people in India and outside of India as well.”

She even spoke about the reason why rumours of her being Covid-19 sparked in the first place, “I have a friend of mine who does interviews. So he kept asking me to come for a Live and I don’t know what happened but my eye had turned red. I told him but he was like ‘No, no come live’. So I go Live and we are talking and in a joke, I told him that ‘Oh you know, couple of people they said I’ve got COVID and even a few friends, I told them I have some eye allergy.’ And the first thing they said, ‘Arre, I have Googled it and people who have COVID-19, they have eye infection and ye hota hain, wo hota hain. I was like, ‘Why are you talking like this?’”After this people started posting comments that Mandana has Corona.
