Childhood is the best phase of our lives. From the first word we say to the moments we share with our loved ones and the values we inculcate from them, everything is special, which stays with us for a lifetime. While we may ignore a few things learnt during our bachpan, the core values, beliefs which we imbibe from our elders are hard to neglect. Similar is the case with our host and dost, actor Maniesh Paul.
On the occasion of Independence Day, Maniesh, who is all set to entertain us with his dark side in his upcoming short film ‘Black Briefcase’, revealed the way he used to celebrate our country’s freedom during his childhood days. In an exclusive chat with us, the ‘Indian Idol’ host, reminisced his old memories saying, “Since my maternal grandfather comes from an army background, I would visit my Nani’s place and greet them with ‘Jai Hind’ instead of ‘Namaste’.”
Saying that he still continues greeting in the same way, the actor also left a special message for his fans for Independence Day. Concluding his chat with us, Paul said, “We should never take our Independence for granted, considering freedom fighters have worked hard for the nation. We need to take care of our country.”
Maniesh is definitely making a valid point here. We do feel so, what about you?
