Maniesh Paul pens a sweet note about his son’s first meeting with Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has been one of the most loved and popular Indian cricketers ever since he came into the limelight after winning the Under 19 Cricket World Cup. Since then, he has made the nation proud on several occasions and the love for him amongst the Indians has just grown. Recently, the cricketer gave one of the most iconic performances of his career when he pulled India out of the face of defeat and help the team emerge victorious against arch-rival Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia. His performance was lauded by cricket lovers across the globe with people singing praises for him. Now, actor Maniesh Paul has joined that list as he penned a beautiful note revisiting his son’s first meeting with Virat Kohli.

What’s special about the cricketer is that he has a fandom that ranges across age groups. From kids to veterans, everyone loves him dearly and how he plays for the country. Yesterday, Maniesh Paul shared a picture of his son Yuvann with Virat Kohli, recalling the time they all met for the first time during a shoot. He wrote, “This was a very special day for Yuvann,my son….he loves Virat…when he got to know that I was shooting with him, he left his football class and came running to meet him…I could see the sparkle in this eyes the moment he saw Virat…thanks @virat.kohli my brother, for the warmth …Yuvann will remember this first meeting with his cricketing hero, forever…he is glued to the matches when you are playing even more now. Loved the way he was cheering during the India- Pakistan match. That’s your effect, Virat!!! Stay blessed and keep inspiring the generations to come… (sic)”.

Virat delivered one of the most special knocks of his career in his latest match against Pakistan and even wife Anushka Sharma was left quite emotional after that. She had also wrote a heartfelt note for him saying, “You beauty!! You freaking beauty!! You have brought sooooo much joy in peoples lives tonight and that too on the eve of Diwali! You are a wonderful wonderful man my love. Your grit, determination and belief is mind boggling !! I have just watched the best match of my life I can say and although our daughter is too small to understand why her mother was dancing around and screaming wildly in the room, one day she will understand that her dad played his best innings that night which followed after a phase that was tough on him but he came out of it stronger and wiser than ever before! So proud of you !! Your strength is contagious ⭐️and you my love, are LIMITLESS!! Love you forever and through thick and thin (sic)”.
