Confirmed: The makers of ‘Manikarnika’ bring Saroj Khan on board for special song featuring Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut has begun shooting a dance number for her upcoming period drama ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’,  which is choreographed by none other than Saroj Khan. The picture of Kangana Ranaut and Saroj Khan has gone viral today.

In the picture, you can see Kangana and Saroj discussing the scenes intensely. The Queen of Bollywood wore a lavender saree and finished her look with heavy jewellery. We have also seen some other pictures of Kangana Ranaut from the sets of ‘Manikarnika’. It is being said, that the makers have now decided to wrap up the song shoot in a single day. The shooting for ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi‘ starring Kangana Ranaut is going in full swing.

As we know, Kangana has recently stepped into the director’s shoes to release her film on time. As director Krish is busy with his other projects, Kangana has taken the reign in her hands. Some reports say, that Queen’s ‘Manikarnika’ has got the Republic Day release date. And currently, the makers are reshooting some scenes. Kangana is gearing up to shoot for a classical number with onscreen husband Jisshu Sengupta.

Reportedly, it is being said that this classical number has the essence of romance in it and Saroj Khan was brought on board to choreograph it. While rehearsals have been on since a few weeks now, the team kickstarts shooting the song from September 18.

Speaking about the film, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi‘ also stars Ankita Lokhande in a leading role. The film is produced by Zee Studios and slated to release early next year.
