‘Manikarnika’ producer Kamal Jain backs Kangana Ranaut in her fight against Krish

Kangana Ranaut and controversies go hand in hand, don’t they? The rebellious actress’ new film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ has just released and it has yet again found itself in a controversy. ‘Manikarnika’s co-director Krish has been attacking Kangana and saying how she has ruined the project.

Now, ‘Manikarnika’s producer Kamal Jain has unequivocally backed Kangana Ranaut and rubbished all the allegations levelled by Krish.

Producer Kamal Jain has backed Kangana and told a portal, “It’s very sad how Krish is trying to claim credit for what he doesn’t deserve. It was mine and studio’s collective decision to give credits the way they are and to attack Kangana who stood by the film from beginning to end is very sad.”

He further elaborated his point and said, “Whatever she did, she could have not done without production and creative team’s consent. For Krish, he’s making it a media trial specifically after huge critical claim and box office success. This is a clear attempt to harm our film. Why doesn’t he go the legal way if he is speaking the truth and prove his claims. We tried to handle this matter on every level. Nothing was done without informing him. It’s sad he chose to create this controversy at the stage.”

For the record, ‘Manikarnika’ is doing quite well at the box-office and has already earned Rs 61.15 crore over the first week. Kangana has still maintained her silence and it would be interesting to see her counter Krish’s allegations when she finally decides to speak up.
